Robot welding & cutting integration · Schertz, TX

Robot cells that run on your floor, not just in a demo.

MPFab Robotics designs fixtures, programs OTC Daihen welding and plasma cells, stands them up at your plant, and writes load procedures your operators can actually follow.

Shop-floor first. NDA-friendly. Installs across Texas and out of state.

WHAT WE DO

Integration from fixture to first good part.

Not a brochure house. The work is designing the tooling, teaching the robot, proving it repeats, and leaving the floor with something they can run.

Robot weld cells — OTC Daihen arms and Welbee power sources. Single-robot, dual-robot, multi-station, and multi-unit cells with headstock/slave interlocks and home permissives.

Fixture design — Tab-and-slot fixtures built for real plasma- and waterjet-cut parts that drift. Pipe-nozzle fixtures from 2” to 12”.

Seam tracking & touch sense Thru-arc seam tracking and touch sense so the robot finds the joint when the parts aren’t perfect.

Positioners — OTC aux-axis headstocks, skyhook-style tilt/rotate, and cradle tooling. TCP and aux axes calibrated before production.

Plasma cutting cells — Robotic air plasma on OTC, including plasma cut + weld cells on a downdraft table.

Floor documentation — Laminated process charts and load procedures written for the operator, not the engineer.

HOW WE WORK

Plain process. No surprises at startup.

1 Look at the part — Prints, cut parts, volumes, and how the parts actually show up at the cell.

2 Design the fixture — Tooling built for real parts that drift, not the ideal CAD model.

3 Teach & prove — Teach on the pendant. Calibrate TCP and aux axes. Prove repeatability before production.

4 Stand it up & document — Install at your plant and leave process charts operators can follow.
